Dev Update #251
Another meh week.
I progressed but couldn't finish. I've lost a lot of time in reloading and correcting shots. With the unusual activity in my house in the past weeks I guess I had trouble focusing on the posing and apparently, I made a lot of mistakes. Some I've noticed and corrected, and some others are showing now that Pc Chan renders the shots. Wrong hair height, phones hovering over the table, unsimulated clothes... I did them all. And of course, corrections hog a lot of time as loading the files takes forever. This is another reason to upgrade to the new Daz and it's shorter loading times. I'll probably have to accept that there will be differences in the light and upgrade anyway.
I've posed up to shot #164, and brought down the total to 177. So I have a dozen shots left. That means that I should be able to start writing Scene 29 on Tuesday.
Officer Smith makes a comeback in that scene.
And I upgraded his figure. The original was a basic genesis 3 figure and it looked pretty lame compared to the main cast. I upgraded it to a genesis 8 with better skin and he looks less out of place. His previous appearance was on Day 5. The original will disappear when I'll rework the scene he was in.
When I first introduced the original character, I was still working with a 2070 RTX, and I was struggling with Vram. Using a genesis 3 model made sense in that context. But not anymore as I upgraded my gpu to the 3090 RTX.
Steam.
I'm still waiting on the trailer. I hope to get it tomorrow as it was supposed to be the deadline I agreed upon with my contractor.
On a side note, I now have A/C installed I tested it a bit and if it won't do any miracle, I can already see some improvements. I have reasonable hope that it will allow me to render without interruption this summer.
The quick sum up :
- Day 6 Part 5 will contain 2 new scenes: scenes 28 and 29.
- Day 6 Part 5 will contain 1 reworked scene: Day 2, scene 2.
- 5378 words of new content so far.
- 177 shots are planned, 164 are posed, and 55 are rendered.
- I'm currently posing scene 28.
You can follow my progress on this Trello board.
Thank you for your support!

while i appreciate your posts, and i understand how this is a way to have meaningful contact with your "audience" and i admire your work, first that pretty blond girl who reminds me of a my best friend, and now the only remaining girl i have not had a "relationship" with, the one with the extraordirary over exposed breast, from the side (yes i don't remember her name), is it possible to have TWO channels of notifications ? i really don't want to know when you have written thousands of lines of bad code (there is simply no reason to do that here), i am not interested in the number of renders, or how someone with some sick fantasy can jerk off by being ugly to imaginary people, is there a way to limit notifications to when a new version is available ? because, frankly, i have no time for this, if you want to have attention, use patreon, or twitter/x instagamophone or whatever, all i'm interested in is when i can jerk off think about those amazing girls, you are doing a fantastic job, such good writting, but you clearly don't realize that every message that tells us that there is NOT a new version is just a disappointment ! i would only send notifications for updates, and allow all the others to interact with you on a voluntarily basis, you are very good at making the novels (except the coding, clearly) but, no, the way you manage the amount of information we get is just wrong, and i have the upmost positive intentions saying this, and if there was a private way to tell you i would have used it
Hello.
Thank you for your feedback.
I'm sorry if my dev updates are annoying you. I understand it can be frustrating.
I do publish my updates using the "general update" category, and announce the releases using the "Major update or Launch" category. I don't know if you can filter that on your side. I don't think there is anything else I can do on mine.
I usually have quite favorable feedback on my dev updates, so I have to confess that I'm a bit surprised.
Bro you're under no obligation to read these. If they bother you so much you could just ignore them. The rest of us appreciate them a lot.
