Dev Update #304


Day 2, Scene 3.

It's posed. I'm not overly satisfied with the rendering, however. I seem to have some issues with the wet skin geoshell I have used until now. It always served me well, so far. I don't know why but on most of the renders, it doesn't look as good as it used to. It will have to do though.

There are about 20 images left to render, I should be able to deal with them over the weekend.

Coding phase one is done, and I sent the script to my proofreader.

Next week will most likely be intense.

The post-processing should be a breeze now that I have found a way to automatize it. I've already done most of it anyway.

I have some coding left to do and a list of bugs, typos, and details to correct. I also have to find some new music. I do hope to be done with all this by Thursday and proceed with a short round of closed beta before a release in early July.

The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 6 will contain 3 new scenes: scenes 30, 31, and 32.
  • Day 6 Part 6 will contain 1 reworked scene: Day 2, scene 3.
  • Day 6 scenes 30 and 31 are fully written, posed, rendered, and proofread. Post-processing and coding phase #2 are done.
  • Day 6 scene 32 is fully written, posed, and rendered. Coding phase #1 is done.
  • Day 2 scene 3 is fully written and posed. Rendering is ongoing. Coding phase 1 is done.
  • 18 877 words of new content.
  • 2670 words of reworked content.
  • 5 460 lines of code so far.
  • 635 shots are planned, 635 are posed, and 614 are rendered.
  • 5 animations have been posed. 330 / 330 frames rendered, 330 post-processed.
  • I'm currently post-processing and coding stuff.
