V0.6.7 : Scene 33

The writing of scene 33 is almost done. I actually have a 5700-word-long second draft that I'm pretty happy with both length-wise and content-wise. I still need to refine some parts of it, and I'm considering adding one more short segment, but the scene is essentially written.

The scene starts with a discussion that was actually harder to write than I thought it would be. Some of the "topics" I had planned for it were not functioning as well as I thought they would, and I had to find some new options. Several writes and rewrites later, I think I've found a good balance, and the conversation actually feels pretty good. The second part of the scene is more "action-based", and it was way easier to write as I have played and replayed that part in my head and in my dreams countless times. It's gonna be emotional and intense. Jack clearly isn't ready for what's coming for him.

Just like for pretty much all the remaining scenes of Day 6, I have been planning these events for a while now, and I'm glad I can finally work them out of my brain. It's kind of liberating.

So, here is the program for next week: Monday and Tuesday will probably be dedicated to preparing the Steam and Itch release. There wasn't much typo to correct with the coming patch, but I still have some work to do on the achievements for the Steam platform and prepare the builds for deployment. I'll probably finish editing scene 33 on Tuesday and Wednesday. That means I should be able to cut the scene and start posing the scene before the end of the week. I should be able to keep the scene under 200 shots, maybe even 175, if I reuse some images, which should be feasible during the conversation part of the scene.

The quick sum up :

• Day 6 Part 7 will contain 3 new scenes: scenes 33, 34, and 35.
• Day 6 Part 7 will contain 1 reworked scene..
• 5700 words of new content.
• I'm currently writing scene 33.
