Dev Update #267


Day 2 scene 2.

I finished rewriting the scene. With about 2700 words, it ended up meeting my expectations. The scene follows the same developments as the original one. It will simply be better. I cut the scene and planned 79 shots. Posing is ongoing. I'm up to shot #24 at the moment. I hope to make some good progress next week. Maybe even finish the posing completely. Rendering should also be a breeze as the scene never contains more than two characters and loads fairly easily.

What's left?

Some more coding and post-processing. I also need to decide on the soundtrack for these scenes. The beta will most likely be pretty fast... so... Maybe a release in four weeks?

Steam.

I haven't talked about Steam for a while. The wishlists aren't doing great. We entered October and we have barely 4000 wishlists. There is no way we reach the required 12k before the launch in December. We are most likely heading towards a magistral failure. That doesn't feel good.


The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 5 will contain 2 new scenes: scenes 28 and 29.
  • Day 6 Part 5 will contain 1 reworked scene: Day 2, scene 2.
  • Day 6 scene 28 has been written, posed, rendered, and coded.
  • Day 6 scene 29 has been written, posed, and coded. Rendering is ongoing.
  • 16 477 words of new content.
  • 2680 words of reworked content.
  • 3339 lines of code so far.
  • 496 shots are planned, 496 are posed, and 476 are rendered.
  • 79 shots of reworked content are planned. 24 are posed.
  • I'm currently posing Day 2 Scene 2.
