Dev Update #179
I'm done posing scene 20. Rendering has also progressed and there are only 15 shots left to render.
I'm going to take a break from the story for a couple of days, in order to work on "marketing material". That's a fancy word for some of the renders I'll be using to illustrate this page. The images I'm currently using are quite old and are objectively bad. An upgrade is long overdue.
I think I'll be working on that until Wednesday. Then I'll move on to writing scene 21, which will be the last part of the main branch of v0.6.3.
The whole scene is already mapped. If I don't change my mind and go crazy on the writing, I expect the scene to run into the 4k words / 150 renders territory.
Don't quote me on that though, I'm always wrong with my estimations.
The quick sum up :
- Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 19 to 26).
- Scene 19 and 20 are written. 13902 words so far.
- 423 renders are planned, 423 shots are posed and 407 are rendered.
- I'm working on producing some marketing material.

Thanks for the info! I always say it's the developer's actions that decide game sales, much more than the game itself. You are proving that, so when you put the finished game on Steam and GOG, you will make a mint!
Well, it's not going to sell itself, that's for sure. And I do hope it will pay off indeed !
