Scene 20

I progressed through the posing of scene 20. I had to rework the laundry room set to include a proper hallway. You've probably noted that I've already rendered some shots using that part of the set in a previous release, but I realised quickly that it wasn't good enough for what I had in mind as I couldn't use the camera angles I wanted. So I reworked it. I'll have to go back and rerender a couple of shots in the early day 6 scenes to maintain consistency.

About half of the scene is now posed. As I mentioned in the previous dev update, the scene is very static but there is a lot of skin contact. As a consequence, as long as the characters don't move, posing most of the shots is pretty fast as I'm focusing on expressions and eye movement. However, when the characters move, even slightly, I have to review the whole pose to correct the inevitable clipping. And that's a painful and frustrating process.

I rendered the first 10 shots of the scenes. It looks ok to me so far.

I should be able to finish posing scene 20 by the end of next week.

The quick sum up :

• Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 19 to 26).
• Scene 19 and 20 are written. 13902 words so far.
• 427 renders are planned, 380 shots are posed and 331 are rendered.
• I'm working on posing scene 20.
