Dev Update #128


Not much to say.

I'm working on posing scene 13.

Half of it is posed and it's slowly rendering. It was the easy half. I had an idea for that second part of the scene, and that idea poses a challenge on the technical side of the rendering. I'm currently testing stuff to see if I can do it and if the final result, after post-processing, is good enough. If not I'll have to go for a more basic approach.

As I mentioned last week, I want to create a proper exterior for the house. For that purpose, I've spent a few hours playing with Blender. I'm still at level 0 of 3d modelling but what I learned so far makes me think that creating a proper environment should be possible. It won't be easy, but modelling a simple architecture shouldn't be difficult. Making it look real enough will be much harder. We'll see if I can do it. If not, I may have to contract an artist for that.


The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 11 to 18).
  • Scenes 11, 12 and 13 are written. 
  • Scenes 11 and 12 are posed and rendered. Half of scene 13 is posed
  • Scenes 11 and 12 are logic ready.
  • 7457 words, 1095 lines of code. 202 shots are posed, 178 are rendered, 37 more renders are planned.
  • I'm currently posing scene 13.
