Dev Update #239

I'm a bit late.

Everything has been post-processed, and all images have been integrated. However, I still have a few things I need to work on and I couldn't work on the music either. I hoped to have a working build today and have the beta running this weekend, but that ship has sailed.

I think I need at least one more day to work on code stuff and a couple of pseudo animations. There are some things I want to try with impact frames. I'm not sure if it will work in the context of an extremely short dynamic but I really want to try it. It could be great.

There is also some special stuff I want to add to the achievements. Something special as a reward for some of the achievements you will be able to unlock in this update, but maybe I'll postpone it to a later patch, in a few weeks.

The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 4 will contain 2 new scenes: scenes 26 and 27.
  • Day 6 Part 4 will contain 2 reworked scenes from Day 2, Scenes 1 and 10.
  • Day 2, Scene 1 and 10 have been rewritten, posed and rendered.
  • Day 6, Scene 26 and 27 have been written, posed and rendered.
  • 9549 words of reworked content, and 12723 words of new content so far.
  • 6935 lines of code so far.
  • 698 shots are planned, 698 are posed, and 698 are rendered, 698 are post-processed.
  • I'm working on coding stuff.

You can follow my progress on this Trello board.

Thank you for your support!

I really like that you give these progress reports mate. Helps me to stay patient and eager.

I do think that it's important for the people who support me to know what I have done and how the development is going. Information and transparency are the basis of trust!

Yes! Thank you! Some devs seems to find it hard to understand that.

Maybe they have different priorities.

They almost certainly do. Hard to empathize with that when they don't explain it to me though.
