Dev Update #171
That dev update will be really short as there isn't much to say.
I'm still working on posing and rendering scene 19.
I've been slightly more efficient than the previous weeks and about half of the scene is posed. I hope to finish it by the end of December. It's going to be difficult but that should be doable if I stop overthinking every eye movement and micro-expressions. I still have to rewrite the hard sub variant but I don't think that it will impact the render count much.
Scene 19 will be the biggest scene of this update and according to my estimations, it should represent a third of the total content of v0.6.3.
So far, the renders are looking good and I'm fairly satisfied with the results.
I've been slacking on the bonus renders front for a few months. I'll try to correct that.
The quick sum up :
- Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 19 to 26).
- Scene 19 is written. 11 339 words so far.
- 173 shots are posed, 113 are rendered, 174 more are planned.
- I'm working on posing and rendering scene 19.
You can follow my progress on this Trello board.
Thank you for your support!

So what is the difference between 0.62 and 0.62R? No information....
I reworked the first day of the story. Characters and events are mostly the same but better.
Thanks.
You call it overthinking, but Summer Scent is probably the most nuanced and detailed visual novel, adult or otherwise, that I've had the pleasure to read. I want weekly updates, sure, but I'd rather wait and be continually amazed than get the more immediate gratification of a less enjoyable update.
Take your time, you're doing excellent work.
Thank you for your kind words.
