Scene 14!

I worked on posing Scene 14 the entire week.

The girls are having a change of swimsuits and finding some adequate assets wasn't as easy as it seems. Turns out there's a lot of bikinis available out there but very few good ones (in my opinion, at least).

I've already posed a bit more than 50 shots but I'm still not entirely done with the posing. As I've already mentioned Scene 14 is big. I've posed 4 variants out of 5. I have yet to pose the biggest one, but it's also the easiest one, as this variant has no physical interactions between characters and is easier to pose than the others. I think I'll need 10 to 15 more shots to finish Scene 14. I'll work on it tonight and this weekend.

Of course, I've also rewritten some parts of scene 14 while posing it... I added a thousand words to it. Scene 14 is now 5500 words long.

If I follow my map, there's one more scene with multiple versions but it won't be as complex as scene 14 ended being. Aside from that, all the other remaining scenes will be easier to write.

I keep saying that scene 14 is big, but how big is it really?

Once finished Scene 14 should be around 5500 words and 65 to 70 renders long. That's actually slightly bigger in every aspect than the whole Day 1, the very first demo of Summer Scent.

That leads me to wonder how much content will V0.5 contain. According to Google, the average reading speed is around 250 words per minute. That would mean that there's already more than 2 hours of content in V0.5 and if my estimations are correct, the final script should be 55 000 words long. Close to 4 hours of content.

I don't know how well I can trust this "average reading speed". Let me know: do you read faster than that?

The quick sum up :

• Day 5 will contain 25 scenes.
• Scenes up to Scene 14 are written.
• Scenes up to Scene 13 are posed and rendered. 4/5 of Scene 14 is posed, half of it is rendered.
• Scenes up to Scene 10 are coded.
• Scenes up to Scene 6 are proofread.
• 35 579 words. 3735 lines of script. 395 renders are done, 418 shots are posed.
• I'm currently working on posing Scene 14.
